Your story is the only thing you leave behind. Let's tell it right.

Word conjurer. Recovering overthinker. Artist. Storyteller.

Hi, I'm Rachelle. I am a copywriter and creative strategist based in Colorado Springs. Currently, I am wordsmithing at the US Air Force Academy, where I get to tell the story of 4,000 individuals in one of the most transformative and challenging undergraduate programs in the country.

My journey as a communicator has been unique. The bulk of my experience comes from what I call “communications under fire.” That's because in my previous life, I was an airborne battle manager on a Boeing military 707 aircraft.

The gig was part air traffic controller, part offensive coordinator, part bossy radio show host. I married operational know-how with strategic vision as a member of a truly high-speed, high-stakes integrated communications program. In instances where improper communication sometimes meant the difference between life and death, I couldn't afford to fail.

After the military, I went to Art school to hone my creative chops and refine my design acuity. I started a high-end ceramics business. I launched a city-wide women’s networking initiative in my hometown of Boise, Idaho. My favorite project by far was making two incredible little humans.

I am a voracious consumer and crafter of stories. Stories are what connects us to ourselves and to each other. Today, I get to help you tell yours.
